Gorilla Waterproof Caulk & Seal is a 100% silicone sealant that effectively seals out water, air, and moisture, making it ideal for a variety of applications including in the kitchen, bathroom, windows, doors, automobiles, marine equipment, and plumbing fixtures. In just 30 minutes, this waterproof sealant is ready to withstand exposure to water. Unlike other sealants, this clear silicone sealant will not yellow, shrink, or crack over time.

Please note that this sealant should not be used on wet, damp, frozen, or contaminated surfaces and it is not paintable. Additionally, it is not recommended for underwater applications, aquariums, brick, masonry, cementitious materials, or metals that are sensitive to corrosion like brass and galvanized metals. While it is suitable for general automotive and marine applications, it is not intended for use under the hood or in direct contact with gasoline.

To open the sealant, simply unscrew the cap, fold, and screw on the nozzle. Cut the nozzle to the desired bead size before applying it to clean surfaces free of dirt, grease, oil, and old sealant. For larger gaps, use a backer rod. It is best to apply this sealant above 40°F (5°C) for optimal performance.

Application is easy - push the bead ahead of the nozzle and smooth it immediately before a skin forms. The sealant can be exposed to rain or showers in just 30 minutes when applied as a 3/16” bead at 70°F (21°C) and 50% humidity; otherwise, wait 24 hours.

To store the sealant, replace the cap tightly to prevent curing and store it in a cool, dry place. If the nozzle has cured, remove the sealant before reusing it. Clean-up is simple - wipe off any wet sealant with a dry cloth and use isopropyl alcohol if needed, following the solvent manufacturer’s instructions.
